Christian Witness

The world will never understand the Christian’s call to share the love of Christ with the those who do not know Jesus. Jesus told his followers 2000 years ago to go and Preach, to preach the good news. That good news is that the son of God has come that man might be saved from their sin.

When Christians reference sin, sinners become offended. In reality, all have sinned and are in need of rescue. Jesus offers that rescue as the only way to be delivered from your sin is through his actions on the cross. He sacrificed his life that you might live.

As a Christian references sin let us not be specific condemning but in love sharing Jesus wants to save from a multitude of sin. The problem is you when one shares Jesus they expect the person to stop every bad habit in their life. This may happen through his grace and mercy, however even the Apostle Paul struggled with a thorn in his side years after his conversion. Some people receive immediate relief from sin some struggle. It is not for man to judge them but to allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives through his sanctifying power.

Some get over zealous in sharing the gospel. Just share as Jesus shared he told all to repent and follow him. He did not go in to dens of iniquity shouting for them to repent his message went to each and every person in the sound of his voice as he ministered in those ancient villages. I believe we all need to bow a knee in humility examining our lives and getting right with the Lord. Lord let it be me first. . . As Paul identified himself the chief of sinners so do I.
