When man communed with God in the garden he was complete. He longed for nothing. Everything he needed ws provided him even a wife. Life was Good! Sin corrupted God's creation. Sin created a gulf between God and man a separation leaving a deep void in the heart of man.

God made a plan of redemption that required sacrifice as there is no redemption without blood. He established a plan of ritual sacrifice and laws but man was unable to comply with the plan. He then made the ultimate sacrifice his only son would be offerred up as atonement for man's sin.

God longed to restore relationship with man as much as man desired the void in his life to be filled. If you ever truly experience the touch of God in your life, you know nothing on this earth compares.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus explains the Kingdom comparing it to the lost sheep, a lost coin, and the prodigal son. The shepherd leaves the 99 to find the one, the woman stops everything to search for the coin, and the father throws a grand celebration at the return of his son. God lost man through sin and has gone to xtreme lengths to restore relationship.

Through Jesus Christ all has been restored. The catch is that man must to decie to accept God's gift. That is how God presented his son as a gift. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life." If you simply believe and call on th nme of Jesus you will be saved. The void in your life will be filled.

You will no longer need alcohol, drugs, sex, or anyting else to fill the void, the vacany in your life. When you call on Jesus the Holy Spirit fills the void bringing unknown comfort and peace. The Holy Spirit is the Spirir of God and it indwells all believers.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” The believer will never want for things of this world again.

If you are a bliever reading this, I must ask this question: Is Jesus enough? Are you relying on alcohol, drugs, sex (sin) to try and fill void in your heart? Unless you truly repent (turn from your sin) and humble yourself before the Lord you will never be satisfied. Only Jesus satisfies. The Holy Spirit can not dwell in a broken vessel.

Jesus repairs our brokeness, restoring us like new, allowing a complete vessel for the Holy Spirit to indwell.

Search your heart is there an emptiness or void that leaves you searching for more? Have you given all to Jesus? He sys to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. ALL is key here have you given him your all? Is Jesus enough?
