MISSION: Reach the ONE!

Today as I sit here at my laptop and think I can not imagine a day that I do not serve my Lord, Jesus Christ. As I think of my service, I think how insignificant my service is in comparison to great men of faith. I desire to do more yet am not availed the opportunity due to my physical condition. So I write. I have written books and have wrote a blog. These great men of faith came to Christ as one individual shared the gospel with them that has forever changed their lives. My desire in life and ministry is to reach one person for Christ who will adopt that same desire. As I passionately reach for the one I may in fact reach two.

If you fail to have a goal or destination you may find yourself walking in circles. Set a goal and march towards it with all the vigor in which you have been blessed. To sit and do nothing at all is a sinful existence living in disobedience to Jesus’ teachings. He told his followers to go and make disciples of all. Let me encourage you to adopt a personal mission statement for your life that incorporates these teachings.

When we make our belief in Jesus public in response to John 3:16 all who “believe” will have eternal life, that belief is an action verb. We are told in scripture even the demons believe. So there is more to belief than simply acknowledge Jesus exists. Those that believe in the United States are willing to fight for all in which the nation stands. If you believe in Jesus are you wiling to do all that he has requested of his followers? (Make disciples of all, love God with our all, and love others as he has loved us.) By this they will know we are his followers.
