Prayer Challenge

After writing the Blog post “Power of Prayer” I began to think. What would happen if the people of our nation began to pray like the British prayed for their nation? We all desire unity and peace. We see the discord and moral decline. I was challenged today to post a scripture or prayer everyday for 10 days and nominate a different person each day to flood Facebook with God's word.
I would challenge you the reader of this post to pray each day for the next 10 days. As you pray repent of your sin turning back to God and seek Divine intervention in the daily workings of our nation. I believe we will see a dramatic change if enough or us bow the knee to the Lord.
As you pray each day challenge a new friend to pray as well. There is power in Prayer. We have seen evidence in World War II, in scripture and many in their own lives. Would you pray with me to see America restored to the nation it was founded to be? Will you believe with me for a great move of God across the land? A revival that shakes the very foundations of our nation?
Unless God intervenes I’m afraid our nation is headed for disaster. Divisiveness is ripping peoples apart all across our land. God holds he power in his hand to bring healing. 2 Chronicles7;14 states Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. I challenge each reader to take this verse to heart, set aside a time of prayer each day for the next 10 days.
If you see no change then stop. If you begin to see change keep it going until the entire nation knows there are people praying from coast to coast. Pray when you see change and pray after giving thanks to the almighty God. We need to do more than pray we need to repent, to turn to God, to stop practicing our wickedness as we seek God’s face.
