GIVE THEM JESUS!

At the end of The Gospel of Mark Jesus commissions his followers to “Go and preach the Gospel.” Take the good news of Jesus and share it with all nations. Those twelve multiplied to 120 in the Upper Room on Pentecost which multiplied to 3000.

That same Holy Spirit that swept through like a roaring wind continues to sweep through lives today. Jesus promised a gift from the Father. He also spoke of miracles and miraculous signs and wonders following the preaching of the Gospel.

Evangelist Rev. Billy Graham had a worldwide following. He is the greatest modern-day evangelist. Millions have a relationship with Jesus Christ because Rev. Graham was determined to share the Gospel with the world. No matter where or when he spoke he shared the Gospel.

Give them Jesus: Romans 10:14 (NLT)14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? Jesus was clear when he commissioned the disciples, this same commission is carried forward to modern day believers until Christ returns for his church.

You do not need a huge tent and pulpit to share the gospel. Jesus shared the gospel with a woman drawing water from the well. He didn’t even give her water but asked to be served. Every person you encounter is potential to share the Gospel, Just give them Jesus. Do you know many have never heard the gospel?

The Joshua Group estimates some 17.2% of our population has never heard the Gospel. A nation founded on the principles of God’s Word has unreached peoples. The sad thing is many have been reached but have a bad taste in their mouth because of the poor delivery of Jesus message. I have found building relationships and allowing Jesus to shine through in my walk has influenced people to come to Jesus. I let people see what Jesus means to me in my everyday life.

The fields are white for harvest but the workers are few. Who will Give them Jesus? The unreached numbers will grow fast if we do not establish believers who are willing to be obedient to Jesus Christ by Going and preaching the Gospel. Give them Jesus!

A local teen was just gruesomely murdered I heard over drugs. Regardless of why he was murdered. I’m pretty sure he did not see that in his future when he woke up that day. My father was killed in an automobile accident. I know he did not foresee his death. People that died in the recent hurricanes didn’t see their demise coming.

My point is that people are dying around us every day. Some are ready like my father. Others have no clue what to expect in the afterlife. Satan has them confused that they are going to be all together partying in hell. Scripture describes hell in a different manner that includes weeping and gnashing of teeth, torment that never relents.

This can all be avoided if we Give them Jesus! Share the Gospel that all can be saved if they simply believe in Jesus. John 3:16 Give them Jesus!
