ETERNAL REWARD

LIVE XTREME, This is the title of my newest book, however I felt compelled to share regarding eternal reward and judgment a result of living xtreme. Did you realize Believers will be judged? Every believer will be judged for their works. This judgment has nothing to do with sin as Jesus atoned for our sin on the cross. That work is completed.

Believers when they call out to Jesus are to repent, turn from their past and live different. God has placed a calling on every persons’ life. Some are given a calling to ministry while others are given a calling to vocational ministry.

God had a purpose for our lives before we were born. John Bevere teaches we will be rewarded according to how we fulfilled the purpose for which we were created. Are you living a life of purpose? Have you died to your selfish desires that Christ might be glorified? Selfishness is human nature when we allow it to consume us it becomes sin.

Jesus said unless a man take up his cross he cannot follow him. It is difficult to follow if you keep traveling your own path and direction. His desires must become our desires, His thoughts must become our thoughts. And His purpose must become our purpose. Jesus was very purposeful in his teaching of his disciples. He prepared them for ministry after his ascension. They had a firm grasp on his purpose and methods of ministry.

These men literally dropped everything to follow him. They left their jobs, homes, and family to follow Jesus. They didn’t even second guess their choice. They LIVED XTREME. There is no record of their struggling with their decision. A man desired to follow Jesus but requested he first go home and bury a family member. Jesus said, “Let the dead bury the dead.” Thought is that the family member had not yet died and the person was unwilling to follow until they were gone.

There is an urgency to fulfill the calling Jesus has placed on our lives. Time is of the essence. If we fail, people may miss out on eternal life. John Bevere shares a video on YouTube, where people are being judged for fulfilling their calling. The judge knows the exact number of people who would have been impacted if they would have been faithful. Failure resulted in countless numbers perishing.

Judgment of believers will include their works and motive or intent in performing those works. Our works will be consumed by fire. If our works were done for his glory gold, silver and precious gems will remain. If they were done for selfish gain they will be burnt up like wood hay and stubble with nothing left.

Our reward will determine how we live out eternity as it is an eternal reward. “What we do with the cross determines where we will spend eternity, the way we live as believers determines how we will spend eternity.” John Bevere

I have found Live Xtreme mirrors many of John Bevere’s themes, however I was not exposed to his teachings on these subjects until after I completed writing my book. I would encourage you to complete his course “Called” through Ministry International.

There are many great resources that I feel do not need reinvented. I post many quotes and videos from others as I think they share the message in a unique way that I do not need to redo.
