I have attempted to write conveying the urgency of getting right with God. Today is that day. What you put off until tomorrow may never come to fruition. In 2Corinthians 6:2 (NLT) Paul writes,” For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you. Indeed, the right time is now. Today is the day of salvation.’ When you hear the message and your heart is convicted of your sin is the time to call on the Lord.
This conviction is the Holy Spirit, no man coms unless he be drawn by God. Jesus said, “For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.” John 6:44 When you feel compelled to submit your life to his Lordship seeking forgiveness repenting of your sin this is the Day of Salvation.
When you reject the Holy Spirit drawing you to Christ your heart will become hardened over time. Hebrews 3 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. 15 Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.
God was not pleased with the Israelites. These being his chosen people. He allowed their hearts to become hardened towards the things of God as such they were not invited to enter his rest. Constant rejection results in missing out on eternal life. Romans 11 7 So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have—the ones God has chosen—but the hearts of the rest were hardened. 8 As the Scriptures say, “God has put them into a deep sleep. To this day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their ears so they do not hear.”

As God draws an individual, he is aware of their rejection of his calls. He does not force himself on people. He is a gentleman. Revelations says, Behold I stand at the door and knock.” There is no breaking down the door. Today is the Day of Salvation as he has given you one more chance to hear the saving message of the Gospel. Your rejection of the message will only result in the hardening of your heart if you reject it and eternal life if you accept.
Many say I have plenty of time but never take the step to get right with the Lord. I know a man on his death bed who said he was ready for his virgins when he died. He never took the message seriously and allowed his heart to become hardened. If I am wrong about Jesus then I have wasted my life following him trying to make the world a better place. If you are wrong, what ae the consequences? I would rather be wrong and face nothing than to be wrong and face hell. What have I lost and what will you lose? Today is the Day of Salvation.
All who believe on Jesus Christ and call on his name shall be receive eternal life. Call on him right not confess and turn from your sin seeking forgiveness and make Jesus Lord of your life following his word and teachings. It is that simple to become a child of God.
