DESTINY

Are you going to hell? This is a question only you can answer. You will not be able to ride the coat tails of your parents or grandparents and contrary to false teachings, you cannot be prayed into heaven. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and The Life no man come to the Father but through him. You must call on his name and believe he is Lord of all, the son of God.
Acts 4:11-12 Jesus is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This is from Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost, Salvation is found only in Jesus. If you do not have Jesus your destiny is not heaven. If you do not believe he is the son of God who was crucified, dying for the sins of the world, and that he rose again, you have nothing.
Jesus came to save the world from sin not to impose a new set of rules on man. To be saved he says one must believe in him and call on his name. When we place our belief in him we will be obedient to his teachings and model his life in our life. How could you not, if you truly believe in him and his teachings?
Failing to believe results in hell. Revelation 21:8 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” There it is stated in his word, the unbelieving will be consigned to hell.
Doing good and being nice will not be rewarded if you do not believe. How often, typically at a funeral do your hear, “He/She was such a good person?” of “They had a heart of love?” this is not a guarantee of heaven. I pray they say “He loved Jesus!” at my funeral. All I care to be remembered as is an individual with a passionate love for Christ. My point is there is no free pass for doing good.
Unless a man believe in his heart and confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord they will not see heaven. My question to the reader is, Where do you want to spend eternity? What is your destiny?
All who believe and all on the name of Jesus will be saved. When we come to Christ humbly seeking forgiveness recognizing he is Lord will have your names written in the Lambs Book of Life assuring you eternal life. How you follow determines how you spend eternity. He calls us to follow him as he has set an example for us to be holy as he is holy.
Before it is too late bow your head and call on Jesus your eternal destiny depends upon it!
Pray this, “ Dear Jesus I believe you are the son of God, I confess I am a sinner and desire my life to be changed. Please forgive my sin as I make you Lord of my life. I thank you for saving me. Amen”
It really is that easy to secure your eternal destiny in Heaven. The next step is to plug into a family of believers who can help nurture you in your new walk. Message me charleslefort@evangelistcharleslefort.com or on Facebook. I will help you find your way. BE BLESSED!
